Canadian Tour
11.19.2007- CST

Sup world. So... our lengthy Canadian tour has finally come to an end. 65 days on the road and i'm about ready to see my own bed again. We had a wonderful time, thanks so much to all the fans who came out to support us during this album cycle. We've been touring our asses off for the last 22 months, and it feels so good to end it all off with a bang. We're putting the album to rest, taking a little time to catch up on some sleep, and we'll be back in the studio through December and the new year cranking out album #2. There are a lot of great songs brewing and we're all itching to get back in the studio. This record will be for you guys, because you've kicked ass supporting us by coming to the shows, buying our record, and requesting our videos endlessly, and we owe u guys bigtime. That reminds me... because of the onslaught of fan requests to Muchmusic, our latest single Shake Tramp hit #1 on the Muchmusic Countdown. SOCAN (the Society of Composers, Authors, and Music Publishers of Canada) threw us a big party when we returned from tour in celebration of our #1 video, awarding the band with these big plaques in recognition of our achievement. The awards were presented to us by Jim Vallence, a legend and world famous songwriter who has written tracks for Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne, and Bryan Adams, as well as many many more. The party was attended by our producer, mentor, and friend, Dave Genn (Matthew Good Band,5440) as well as the Shake Tramp video director, Kyle Davison. Also in attendance were the loyal and supportive staff of 604 Records (our label) and several representatives of SOCAN. It was an extremely rewarding and exciting experience for us, one that we will all remember for a long time. And this is all thanks to you guys. We couldn't have done it without you. From all of us here at Marianas Trench, thank you so much!!!
